New Zealand beat England today in the 2nd Test match by 8 wickets. With that, they take the series 1-0. This is the Black caps’ 3rd Test Series win in England and the first one since 1999.
New Zealand’s win is a reflection of their current strength as a Test team. It is remarkable to note that they made 6 changes to the side which played in the first test, including the forced exclusion of their captain and best batsman Kane Williamson.
Kiwis will now be extremely confident going in to the World Test Championship Final which starts this Friday (18th), as they take on India to decide the Test Champions of the World.
