Speaking at the pre-match media briefing, Wicket keeper batsman Dinesh Chandimal said that the spinners will have more advantage in the second match as the pitch seems much drier than the one provided for the 1st Test match.
Chandimal also said that there will be one change in the team for tomorrow’s match against the West Indies due to the releasing of pacer Dushmantha Chameera from the squad.
However he commented that it is still not certain if a batsman or a fast bowler would replace Chameera.
Quizzed if Charith Asalanka has a possibility of making his Test debut tomorrow, Chandimal said that he could not make a comment on that.
Dinesh Chandimal further stated that this is a decision that should be taken by the captain, coach and the selection committee.
