Batting first Bangladesh scored 147 for loss of 7 wickets with Soumya Sarkar top scoring with 34 runs. For Sri Lanka Dushmantha Chameera bagged 3 wickets for 26 runs.
Chasing the target, Sri Lanka lost the plot by losing too many wickets in the middle overs and were at deep trouble at 75/6. Joining Avishka Fernando in the middle Chamika Karunartne rescued Sri Lanka and their unbeaten partnership took home Sri Lanka with an over to spare. Avishka top scored with 62 runs while Chamika scored 29 runs.
