Ajantha Mendis and Kapugedara among six cricketers participating in Nairobi Premier League

Six Sri Lankan Cricketers are set to participate in the inaugural Nairobi Premier League (NPL), which will begin on 15th September.

Udara Jayasundera, Lahiru Gamage, Gihan Rupasinghe and Vikum Sanjaya have been signed to play in the league while former players Ajantha Mendis and Chamara Kapugedara will be mentoring two teams in the tournament.

The inaugural Nairobi Premier League  (NPL) is played in the T20 format, will feature cricketers from Kenya, Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka. The league consists of six franchise teams, namely Nairobi Hornbills, Eldoret Hawks, Nakuru Flamingoes, Mombasa Eagles, Machakos Vultures and Kisumu Cranes.
