Quinton de Kock was the chief architect with the bat in South Africa’s 3-0 whitewash over Sri Lanka, finishing as the top scorer in the recently concluded series.

The wicketkeeper-batter accumulated 153 runs at an average of 153 and a healthy strike rate of 121.42. His solid display has seen him jump four places to the eighth spot in the latest MRF Tyres ICC Men’s T20I Rankings for batters.

His fellow opener, Reeza Hendricks, who was the second-highest run-scorer in the series with 112 runs, too moved up the batting charts and broke into the top 20.
