Explosive opener Kusal Janith Perera will be available for the last two Twenty-20 International (T20I) matches against South Africa.
Kusal Janith Perera has fully recovered from Covid-19 and passed a fitness test today.
The cricketer last played a competitive match in the England series in June where he captained the side.
Earlier Sri Lanka was expecting to replace him with Dinesh Chandimal, but with Chandimal scoring 66* runs in the first T20I it’s unlikely Chandimal will be replaced.
“He is available for selection now after clearing all the medical tests, it’s upto selectors to decide whether to play him tomorrow or not” a SLC official told CricWire.(CricWire)
