During Saturday’s match against the Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings batsmen achieved something which has never been done in the 14 season history of IPL before.

Batting first, CSK’s mammoth innings of 218 comprised of 2 hundred run partnerships, a feat never achieved in any IPL match before.

However, Kieron Pollard’s whirlwind innings became the talking point of last night’s (1st) clash between MI and CSK, after his brilliant 87* off 34 balls won the match for the 5-time champions.

Two 100 run partnerships for CSK:

108 – Faf Du Plessis & Moeen Ali
102*- Ambati Rayudu & Ravindra Jadeja
