Former Indian Cricketer Robin Robin Uthappa has spoken to young Sri Lankan batting star Pathum Nissanka following is valiant 75 off 53 balls against the Indians during yesterday’s 2nd T20I match played at Dharamsala.
Uthappa, who still plays franchise Cricket and a sought after player due to his vast experience in the game, shared some valuable advice with the SL youngster.
Uthappa has said that he was impressed with Nissanka’s innings against a formidable Indian bowing line up and predicted that he can become a great player for Sri Lanka if he can keep up the consistency.
23-year-old Pathum Nissanka was the top run getter in the recently concluded 5-match T20 series in Australia with 184 runs. He is currently placed 15 in The ICC ranking of T20 batsmen.
