David Warner was dismissed in a controversial manner in the semi-final against Pakistan as he decided to walk off the field despite not edging the ball. Australia had a review left in their kitty but Warner decided against using it.
The replays showed that there was a gap between the bat and the ball and the batsman would have survived had he challenged the on-field umpire’s decision. Warner was dismissed for 49 off 30 by Shadab Khan
