Former Australian Cricketer Matthew Hayden and ex-South Africa speedster Vernon Philander have been roped in as Pakistan coaches for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates that is set to commence on October 17.
The newly-appointed PCB Chairman Rameez Raja today announced a star-studded coaching panel in his first press conference for the showpiece event in UAE and Oman.
“PCB will also name one local, who will be part of the coaching staff for the mega event in UAE,” Ramiz added.
Earlier this month, Misbah-ul-Haq and Waqar Younis turned in their resignations and Saqlain Mushtaq and Abdul Razzak were named coaches for the New Zealand series. (CricWic)
