Wanindu Hasaranga pulls out of the Caribbean Premier League 2021

Wanindu Hasaranga pulls out of the Caribbean Premier League 2021 which is scheduled to play from 26 August – 15th September due to national duties.

Sri Lanka is set to play against South Africa 3 ODIs and 3 T20s in that period thus Wanindu will miss out his first International league experience.

Sri Lanka’s premier leg-spinner was signed by St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots for the first time to play in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) T20 Cricket Tournament in the draft held in June 2021.

Thisara Perera and Isuru Udana have also been picked for this year’s CPL. Thisara Perera has been drafted by Barbados Tridents while Recently retired all-rounder Isuru Udana has been picked for the Trinbago Knight Riders Team.
