Sanjay Manjrekar applauded Sri Lankan victory saying that it doesn’t have to do with India not having senior players as Sri Lanka too missed senior players.
He mentioned Sri Lanka missed experience of Angelo Mathews, Kusal Janith, Dinesh Chandimal, Kusal Mendis, Dhanushka Gunathilaka and Niroshan Dickwella and also lost key players Bhanuka Rajapaksha and Charith Asalanka in the last two games due to injury.
He added for this reason, this victory is special despite it’s against a depleted Indian side.
