England beat Germany 2-0 in their Euro2020 round of 16 encounter today played at the Wembley stadium.
It was a historic moment as this was England’s first win against the Germans in a knockout encounter in 55 years.
Earlier in the day English cricketers coasted to a 5 wicket win against Sri Lanka, with more than 15 overs to spare.
An early end to the match made sure English cricketers could tune in to the much looked forward Euro2020 encounter between the hosts and Germany.
They also got enough time to watch the two goals, including the 2nd goal by captain Harry Kane, which sealed the match for England.
In a video posted on Social media, England cricketers are seen celebrating Kane’s goal.
