Watch: Out or Not? Vaas denied three times by shocking umpire calls

During the 2nd Test between India and hosts Sri Lanka in 2001, Chaminda Vaas

bamboozled Indian opener Shiv Sunder Das in an epic spell which included three shocking umpire calls.

Facing Vaas in what turned to be one of the most vicious opening spells, opener Shiv Sunder Das was simply bamboozled by the Sri Lankan speed merchant. Vaas bowled not one but two swinging deliveries which catapulted strong appeals for LBW (Leg Before Wicket) although both were turned down shockingly by the umpire.

Then Vaas cleaned up Sunder Das with an absolute peach of delivery but the umpire  signalled it as ‘No’ ball but replays showed Vaas had some part of the foot behind when he landed.

What do you think, out or not? 🤔
