PSL to resume on 9th June – 2 Sri Lankans to play

Pakistan Super League T20 tournament will Resume on the 9th of June in Abu Dhabi, Pakistan Cricket sources revealed.

Earlier in March this year, the tournament got postponed due to Covid-19 breaching the bio bubbles of several camps. Pakistan Cricket board has since been working with UAE authorities to finalize protocols to hold the remainder of the tournament in the gulf nation.

The resumption is going to be a tight schedule with the Final expected to be played on the 24th of June. Most players, Video crew and other members are already in the UAE, though the starting date of the tournament was not finalized earlier.

Two Sri Lankans, Thisara Perera and Seekkuge Prasanna are also in UAE currently and in quarantine. Karachi Kings Franchise last week posted a video on Twitter of Thisara working out inside his hotel room.
