The much anticipated schedule of ‘The Ashes’ for 2021-22 season has been released.
As per the schedule, the 1st Test will be played on the 8th December and the final match of the 5-match series will start on the 14th of January next year.
The second test of the Ashes series is scheduled to be played as a Day/Night encounter at the Adelaide Oval.
The famous Boxing Day Test is also scheduled to be played at the MCG on the 26th December.
Cricket fans in Australia will be keenly looking forward for The Ashes this summer and will hopefully be able to attend the grounds as usual, provided the Covid 19 situation down under will be under control.
The extremely hard fought last Ashes Series played in 2019 in England was tied 2-2. However, Australia retained The Ashes as they had won the series on the previous occasion.

1st Test – December 8-12 – Brisbane
2nd Test – December 16-20 – Adelaide
3rd Test – December 26-30 – Melbourne
4th Test – January 5-9 – Sydney
5th Test – January 14-18 – Perth
