As per reliable sources, Sri Lanka Cricket is set to announce the National Cricketers’ new contract grades and payments associated with them.
According to the source, Angelo Mathews, Suranga Lakmal, Dinesh Chandimal along with current Test skipper Dimuth Karunaratne are set to get a major pay cut with the new contracts.
Wicket keeper batsman Niroshan Dickwella and Dhananjaya de Silva are set to receive the highest grade with a payment of $100,000.
New Contract grade and payment :
As per ‘The Island’, there is a dispute between several senior players and the SLC with regard to them getting a considerable pay cut and therefore, the contracts are yet to be signed.
