ICC umpire and former Sri Lanka Cricketer Kumar Dharmasena has said that Kusal Mendis is the biggest asset we got and should be looked after carefully.
Kumar shared this view while participating in a YouTube talk show with Kalum Wijesooriya. When asked what would be one advice he can give to Kusal Mendis as a former cricketer and one of the most experienced international umpires, Dharmasena said:
“Watch the ball till the end, until it hits the bat”
For wicketkeeper batsman Niroshan Dickwella, Dharmasena’s advice was to “Reduce talking and work more”
