Opener Avishka Fernando has been dropped from the 18-man squad named for the Bangladesh series after failing the 2 KM fitness test.
Players have to run the 2km distance within 8 minutes and 35 seconds to pass the fitness test, but Fernando has failed to complete the run within that time.
