Former sports minister and MP Harin Fernando says Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) are making a mistake, obliquely referring to the removal of Dimuth Karunaratna from the captaincy of the SL ODI team.
Harin took to Twitter to express himself as news came out that Karunaratna has been omitted from the ODI side and thereby losing the ODI captaincy.
The former sports minister said that team badly needs an anchor to hold the team, match and the players together.

Meanwhile cricketer turned Commentator Russel Arnold too tweeted today about the the drastic changes announced in the new squad for the Bangladesh tour.
Russel however has a different opinion than Harin as he tweeted that he likes the thinking of the new selection committee.
